WEEK 17

Many controversies have begun over the Mayan calendar predictions of the apocalypse. Some believe it's true, some don't. However, the recent weather occurences have started to head towards that direction. Do you think the world will really end in 2012?

end of the world

I don't believe that the world is going to end next year. I don't think that God would let people, who don't even believe in him, know when the world was going to end. I do agree that the recent weather changes have been looking that way, but I don't think that it's a sign that the world is truly going to end. I think it is more of a sign that something needs to change and that our economy and the safety of our environment need to be protected. If the world were really going to end, I don't think that we would know about it. Therefore, I think we just need to change a few things.

  1. The world will not end in 2012. The Mayans had no clue what they were even talking about. They probably just ran out of rock to keep going with their calender. It is ridiculous to say it is going to end.

  2. The Mayans are right. The world is definately going to end. They predicted the natural disasters and this will come true too.

  3. I agree with Kim and Jack. I do not think the world will end in 2012. It is most likely just a coincidence that all the other things happened when they said it would.

  4. I do not believe the world will end in 2012. Scientist do not have the technology or skills to figure that out. The world and weather are always constantly changing from year to year.
