Watching this 60 minutes segment makes me think that Barack Obama is in a way, in my opinion, irresponsible. He kept blaming other people for the problems that the US is having with the economy rather than taking the blame himself. I think when he was campaigning he took on a little more than he could handle. However, I do feel that he is doing the best he can with what he has. It is really hard as an American citizen to not see the economy changing right away. Therefore, he is probably getting a lot of complaints about how it has not changed yet.
How do you feel about the rate of the economic progress in the US?
I completely agree with what you have said Kim. I think that President Obama is using the Bush Administration as a scapegoat. Even if Obama did not create all these economic problems, he needs to step up and take responsibility for them. I feel that the economic progress is getting better but it is not near what is was at before the recession.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kim when she said that he took on more than he can handle. However, given the circumstances, I think he is doing pretty well and truly trying to better the economy.
